Lodging & Rates

The Lonesome Dove can be found within the heart of Wisconsin’s beautiful Driftless Region.  Our lodging sits on 96 acres and provides the perfect getaway filled with hiking, fishing, site-seeing, and bird-watching.  You can also gaze at the millions of stars as you enjoy a glass of wine or beer from our many local sources or sit by the centuries old spring and listen to sounds of nature dip your feet into the cool water as you chase those elusive Rainbows (not necessarily the trout kind).  The Lonesome Dove is a four season resort and the seasons present an ever changing landscape for you to explore.  Cross country-skiing, horseback riding, bicycling, road-tripping to chase the fall colors, or finding thrift shops and great places to eat- it's all here waiting for you.  Leave normal at home and come enjoy the Driftless.  Pets are allowed upon request.  We are located just off of Highway 14 between Readstown and Viroqua WI.

The Cottage

This quaint cottage offers a unique and memorable opportunity to simply relax or enjoy the many activities available in and around Vernon County.  This fully furnished home accommodates 2-4 guests.  The cottage includes two bedrooms with double beds, a single bath, and a kitchen with a refrigerator and stove.  Price $169 per night.

The Lodge

This spacious lodge offers room for the whole family.  This fully furnished home accommodates 4-10 guests.  The lodge consists of three bedrooms- with the master including a king size bed, a large living area with two futons, two bathrooms, and a full sized kitchen with a refrigerator and stove.  This unit is also equip with a laundry room.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  Price $269 per night.

The Cabin

This quaint cabin is excellent for those who enjoy camping out.  This fully furnished unit accommodates 1-2 guests and includes a bedroom with a full size bed and loft.  Price $89 per night.
